This is a plein air painting of a Pennsylvania October 17th up around Ligonier where our family used to go down by the stream and cook hotdogs. I painted this on my wife's birthday and dedicated the painting to her. That's why the original is not for sale.
About Michael Gross
Making art is how I make sense of this wonderful life. My artistic search for El Dorado keeps the dream alive and gives my soul wings and song. I share these passions through my works. I use sketches as the basis for most all works. The first thoughts manifest on paper. Many works are reisited in digital form, some reworked and reshaped. I still paint outdoors whenever possible.
